Tutoring is Paused

Dear math students and families,

I have loved being your math tutor for the past 15 years. It has been an incredibly rewarding passion of mine, especially getting to meet all the wonderful people and participating in your journey to reaching your goals.

I have new roles that are taking me in new directions, and my availability for tutoring lately has been inconsistent and sparse. I am very sorry for leaving many of you with less support than you needed. I attempted to make it work by limiting my availability and raising my prices, but that did little to address my exhaustion and sense of being chronically overbooked, and left many families still needing more tutoring support.

Because I don’t have the capacity to offer flexibility with scheduling anymore, and because I haven’t been able to find an affordable and functional virtual whiteboard to replace the previous one, I have decided to pause tutoring completely.

I would really like to be able to refer you to a highly skilled math tutor who can take my place. If you know of anyone, please get me in touch with them so I can offer their support to my students in need of more tutoring.

I don’t know when (or if) I will return, which makes me sad. It’s sort of surreal to imagine *not* being a tutor. I will miss you very much.

Please feel free to reach out to me at amy@mathmadeclear.com.
