Because our sessions are on a virtual whiteboard, I'm able to enhance the learning experience by:

• uploading graphics from the web to explain concepts more thoroughly

• having access to a bunch more colors and interactive tools than in-person tutoring

• keeping all our notes organized online so you can access them from anywhere

There are also some drawbacks for online tutoring, like additional distractions and the need for students to have a stylus and a touchscreen device.

After confirming an appointment, I will send you the Virtual Whiteboard and Zoom links by email. You're asked to send photos/screenshots of the questions you need help with.

For our first session, I'll give you a brief tour of the whiteboard so you know how to use the toolbar and navigate.

During tutoring, I'll guide you through example problems and we'll create step-by-step reference guides together, aiming for you to gain the confidence to solve each question on your own.

After each session, I send an email of recommended next steps, and a pdf of all the notes we took.

I have been tutoring for 15 years (since 2007). I have tutored at Edison State College in the past, but have found that I have much more capacity for a positive impact by working as a self-employed math tutor independently.

Online tutoring with me is $60 per hour, which includes:

• An individualized one-on-one lesson and guidance based on my 15 years of experience as a math tutor

• All the notes exported into a single pdf and emailed to you

• A follow-up email with recommended next steps

• Formula sheets

• Reference guides (step-by-step guides for each type of question) based on your learning style, plus lessons on how to make these reference guides on your own

• Extra practice questions customized to your specific needs

• Growth mindset coaching

In-person tutoring with me is $80 per hour and discounts are available (just ask!)

Yes, a package is recommended as the most impactful way to achieve your academic goals! Package options include 12 hours (10% off), 24 hours (12% off), or 36 hours (15% off), and can be customized to your needs.

I accept many forms of payment, including PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. Payment can be made after each tutoring session, or as part of a package in advance.

We can spend 15 to 30 minutes chatting about your goals, needs, and questions. Choose between a Zoom call or phone call, whatever is best for you.

Please cancel with more than 24 hours advanced notice to avoid fees. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time of the appointment will be charged the full amount of the session. There's no charge for cancelling the day before as long as it's more than 24 hours! Thank you for understanding.
